What Volunteers Gain

Pachedu believes that volunteering should be a mutually enriching experience. We are committed to providing every volunteer with:

  • A welcoming, respectful environment
  • Induction and role-specific training
  • Ongoing mentorship and supervision
  • Opportunities to build confidence, skills, and networks
  • Recognition and celebration of contributions
  • References and certificates for active participants

Who Can Volunteer

You can volunteer if you are:

    • 16 years or older
    • Willing to commit at least 2 hours per week (or project-based)
    • Respectful of all cultures, faiths, identities, and abilities
    • Open to learning and collaboration
    • Living in Renfrewshire or surrounding areas (some remote roles available)

We particularly encourage applications from:

 Refugees and New Scots
 People with lived experience of marginalisation
 Students and early-career professionals
 Retired individuals and community elders
