Pachedu means “amongst ourselves” in Shona, reflecting our belief that true community begins when everyone has a place and a voice. Founded in 2016, we grew from a shared experience of isolation among minority ethnic groups in Scotland into a movement for connection, confidence, and cultural pride.

Today, we support diverse communities across Renfrewshire and beyond. Guided by the Equality Act 2010, we champion dignity, equity, and inclusion through projects that bridge cultures, celebrate difference, and help people feel at home.
